About the event
Your adventure begins upon arrival at Tiranë Airport, where our guide welcomes you before heading north to Shkodër — the gateway to the Albanian Alps. After a traditional welcome dinner, the real mountain journey begins.
Driving through breathtaking alpine roads via Boge and Qafe Thore, you arrive in Theth. Here you’ll visit the iconic Church of Theth and the historic Reconciliation Tower before hiking to Grunas Waterfall. A forest trek continues toward the famous Blue Eye of Theth — one of the coldest and most mesmerizing natural springs in the country.
The highlight of the expedition is the legendary Valbona Pass hike — an 8-hour alpine crossing through the dramatic peaks of the Accursed Mountains. This demanding yet rewarding trail connects Theth with Valbonë and offers some of the most spectacular mountain views in the Balkans.
