About the event
Your adventure begins in the historic town of Krujë, where you’ll explore the 500-year-old bazaar and walk inside the walls of Krujë Castle. From 1100 meters above sea level, panoramic views stretch across Tirana, Durres, and the Adriatic coastline.
The journey continues toward Shkodër, where you’ll visit the ancient Rozafa Castle overlooking Lake Shkodra. After exploring the vibrant boulevard, the road ascends into the Albanian Alps toward the secluded village of Theth.
Surrounded by dramatic peaks, you’ll discover the Church of Theth and the historic Reconciliation Tower — a symbol of the 400-year-old mountain tribal law. A scenic hike leads to Grunas Waterfall, followed by a 60-minute forest trek along the river to reach the breathtaking Blue Eye of Theth — known for having some of the coldest and clearest water in the country. Swim in natural pools carved by the mountains and experience authentic alpine life firsthand.
