About the event
Explore Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a day trip from Albania. Discover the magical city of Ohrid, known as the “Pearl of the Balkans” and home to one of Europe’s oldest and deepest lakes.
After a scenic drive from Albania to North Macedonia, arrive in Ohrid and begin exploring the city’s most iconic landmarks. Start with a visit to Samuil’s Fortress, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the lake and the entire old town. Continue down to the Ancient Theatre, one of the city’s most important archaeological sites.
Walk through the charming narrow streets of the old town, surrounded by traditional architecture, historic churches, and a peaceful atmosphere. Visit the famous Church of St. John at Kaneo, perched on a cliff above the lake – the most photographed spot in all of North Macedonia.
